David Franklin Graves, age 79 of Lawrenceburg, passed away May 22, 2023 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Mr. Graves was born December 15, 1943 in Anderson, AL to Charles and Reba Long Graves. He was retired from Rogers Group, a member of Salem Church of Christ, liked collecting coins, going to Tunica and his favorite thing was spending time with his family and a Hardeeās biscuit and grave was a must every morning. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Evans Graves, his special friend Imogene Ayers, and the mother of his children Barbara Ann Graves.
Visitation will be 10am-12pm Saturday June 10, 2023 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with Funeral service to follow at 12pm.
Survivors include his son Charlie Graves (Shawn) of Lawrenceburg, daughters Sylvia Gaines and Pamela Graves both of Lawrenceburg, grandchildren Jerry Simpkins (Ashley), David Simpkins, Duane Hastings (Lacy Russ), Timothy Stevenson, Karen Rivera, Brian Rivera, great grandchildren Bentley Simpkins, Kinzly Simpkins, Diesel Simpkins, Lillianna Hastings, Landon Hastings, Dixie Graves, Cody Graves, nieces Wanda Gail Shelton, Shirley Appleton, special family friends Judy and Robert Mayo, numerous other family and friends.
