After living with ALS for several years, David Elliott McGehee, age 51, died Friday April 3rd 2015 in his home surrounded by his family.
David graduated from Washington and Lee University, and the University of Georgia School of Law where he was awarded the highest award for Jurisprudence in Federal Income Taxation. He was a Captain with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps. He served with the City Attorney’s Office and practiced general practice law in his hometown of Huntsville for many years.
David is survived by his mother, Mrs. Jeanne McGehee, his sisters Dr. Jeanmarie McGehee Chappell and Mrs. Caroline McGehee Brandon.
Visitation will be Monday April 6th at Laughlin Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 pm.
