David E. Sikes, 72, of Madison, Alabama passed away Friday, May 19, 2023.
David was born on July 2, 1950 in Waynesboro, Georgia.
He is preceded in passing by his parents Author and Sally Sikes, his siblings Junior Sikes, John Mack Sikes, Donnie Sikes, Geneva Robinson, Dorothy Vickery, Catherine Pate, Sandra Sikes, and his son David Earl Sikes, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Debbie K. Sikes, daughter Courtney Sikes, son Jeff Boyd, grandchildren Leland Boyd, Ava Sikes, Chelsea Sikes, great grandchild Aliea Frazier, brother Billy Sikes, sister Diane Nunnally (Ron), and a host of nieces and nephews.
In 1973, David began his career at Chrysler, and he retired in 2004 after 31 years of service. He loved playing cards every week with his friends, but more than anything he loved his family, especially his fur baby, Alexis.
A funeral service is being planned, and will be announced here soon.
