David Duhrkopf, beloved husband, father, and brother, passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 65 at home with loved ones. He was born in Lincoln, NE on January 30, 1959, his parents are Bethel Philipi and stepfather Raymond Philipi.
David lived in New Albany, MS, and he loved nothing more than spending time with his son Kyle and working on cars. A skilled mechanic, there was nothing he couldn’t do or didn’t know about a vehicle. He had a deep passion for his family, and rock n roll. David was known for his sense of humor, always full of jokes, and for his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix.
David is survived by his wife Cindy Duhrkopf, sons Kyle and David Duhrkopf, brother Ronnie Duhrkopf, and stepdaughters Candice Page, Elisa Smothermon, and Audrey English.
Preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Bethel Philipi and brother Wayne Duhrkopf.
David will be deeply missed by many, but his loved ones take solace in knowing that his body is no longer in pain, and he is now flying free.

Visitation will be on Sunday July 7, 2024, from 10:30-11:00 AM, Graveside service to follow at 11:00 AM at Duhrkopf Resting Place.
