Graveside Funeral service and Interment for David Downes, 75, will be Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 12:30 PM at Mount Olive Cemetery in Jefferson County with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, December 31, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Mr. Downes died on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Floyd “Tutt” Fann Veterans Home. He was born March 29, 1940, in Illinois to David Downes, Sr. and Helen Miltko Downes. He was an Assembly Line Worker for General Motors prior to retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Jane Downes and his parents.
