David Christopher Warren, 58, of Athens, Alabama, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024.
David is survived by his wife, Donna Warren; parents, Jeanell Van-Pelt and Charles Warren (Gayla), brothers, Mike Warren (Misty), Jeff Warren (Beth), and Patrick Warren (Kristen); sister-in-law, Diane Beck; brothers-in-law, Roger Gentry (Kathy), Randall Gentry (Jan), and Ricky Gentry (Mitchelle); nieces and nephews, Brian Gentry, Melissa Ferrer, Adam Gentry, Audra Engle, Kendall Beck, Kody Beck, Ryan Gentry, Elizabeth Holt, and Victoria Holmes and 12 great-nieces and nephews
He is preceded by his grandparents, Jane Worley, Dewey Johnson, CV and Ruth Warren, Lewis, and Vivian Cornett.
David worked for NASA for 30 years and also served with the Navy Reserves. David is described as the Biggest Alabama Football Fan. During his free time, he enjoyed being on the golf course. He was known for his cooking skills, especially when making ribs. He always looked forward to card night when he could play Rook.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A celebration of life will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 pm with Justin Marrow officiating.
