David Bruce Foust Profile Photo David Bruce “Digger” Foust, a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Born on Friday, September 17, 1954, in Bells, Tennessee, David lived a life characterized by his love of the outdoors. He could often be found fishing near his cabin on Kentucky Lake, tending to his cows and garden, or in the woods hunting white-tailed deer.

Throughout his career, David made significant contributions as an industrial maintenance worker, welder, and pipe fitter at MWP in Bells, TN. His skilled hands and keen mind enabled him to tackle various challenges in his field, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

He was not only a loving father and husband but also a best friend to his son, Michael “Little Digger”, forging a bond that was built on mutual respect and shared experiences. David’s family meant everything to him, and he took immense pride in his role as a devoted “Papa.” His legacy of love and support will continue to resonate with his beloved family members.

David is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Mary Foust; of Medina, TN, his son, Michael Foust; and daughter-in-law, whom he always considered more of a daughter, Chelsey Brunner Foust; both of Jackson, Tn, daughter Miranda Bailey; brothers Philip (Jennie), Glen (Phyllis), and Darrell Foust; sister Rita Webb; and his cherished grandchildren Bryson Foust, Lane Wicker, Malea Broadway (Seth), and Liana Mulyana. He will also be missed by his beloved dog, Roscoe. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bernice Hart Foust.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors and Crematory.
