Brad, age 56, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, after a courageous battle with leukemia. Born on July 14, 1967, Brad brought immense joy to those around him.

 

Although he was known for many things throughout his life, he was best known for his outgoing personality. He had a unique ability to make everyone he met feel like family and truly never met a stranger.

 

Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Carolyn Maddox, and stepson, Shane Hendrix. Brad is survived by his loving family and friends, who will forever hold dear his memory, including his wife, Kimberly; nine children, Brandon Maddox, Blake (Michelle) Maddox, Adam Maddox, Davey Maddox, Kristen (Dan) Bryda, Katy (Tyler) Leverette, Katherine (Josh) Jones, Alexis (Jonathan) Shook, and Harley Maddox; seven grandchildren; and two brothers, Tim (Tina) Maddox, and Jay (Isa) Maddox; as well as several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a special bonus child, Jackson Holley, who he often referred to as the light of his life.

 

He will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and the positive impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to have known him.

 

The funeral service to honor and celebrate Brad’s life will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, TN with Michael Davenport officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on Monday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a trust for his youngest daughter, Harley. Donations can be made to CB&S Bank directly to the account of Harley Maddox.

 

Pallbearers will be Dan Bryda, Jonathan Shook, Josh Jones, Davey Maddox, Maken Hubble, and Gryphin Jones.

 

May Brad rest in eternal peace, free from pain, and may his memory continue to bring comfort to those who mourn his passing.
