  David Bostick Profile PhotoDavid Bostick, age 59, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 at his home in Belden. He was born January 19, 1965 in Natchez, the son of G.T. Bostick and Doris Sheppard Bostick Lee. His family moved to the Lee County area when he was an infant. David graduated from Mooreville High School in 1983. He worked in sales for Williams Equipment and Supply for many years. He was a member of West Main Church of Christ. David loved the outdoors and would rather be outside regardless of the weather. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, but his family and grandchildren brought him the greatest joy.

David leaves behind his three daughters, Kimberly Bridges (Justin) of Booneville, Mandi Nichols (Nick) of Belden, and Misti Bramlett (Reid) of Pontotoc; ten grandchildren, Mason, Isabella, Bradley, Railon, Awston, Jorgia, Macon, Maddilyn, Preston, and Beau David; two brothers, Terry Bostick (Candais) of Mooreville and Larry Bostick (Lori) of Saltillo; his sister, Sherrie Palmer (Keith) of Tupelo; his mother, Doris Bostick Lee of Verona; his father G.T. “Bug” Bostick (Katrina) of Saltillo; and special friend and mother of his children, Denise Lee of Belden.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rama Bell and Dorris Wesley “Dobby” Sheppard and Garland and Flora Bostick.

Visitation will be 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2024 at Pegues, Tupelo. Services honoring David’s memory will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues with Pastor Grant Sowell officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Nick Nichols, Reid Bramlett, Keith Palmer, Justin Bridges, Terry Bostick, Brayden Palmer, and Mason Smith.

Memorials may be made to Tupelo-Lee Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
