David Allen Smith, 65, of Huntsville, passed away Monday. David was the owner of Horne’s Upholstery and Drapery for 22 years. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam Era and was a devoted husband, father and friend.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Smith; son, Adam Smith and daughter, Amanda Smith, all of Huntsville; father, Hoyt Smith; brother, Larry Smith and sister, Vicki Lawson, all of Florida; Tom and Jeanette Honeycutt, Roger Vaught and Judy Larson; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, Inc. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Latham United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Martin officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Inc. (www.laughlinservice.com)
