David Allan Smith age 62 passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 02, 2022. David attended Bridgeport High School and Auburn University. He taught at and loved North Jackson High School for 28 years and became a Certified Sports Field Manager.
David was a member of Kimball Church of Christ and preached the gospel in the valley for churches of Christ for 30 years.
David is survived by his wife of 36 years, Susan Williams Smith. Mother: Betty Smith; sister, Becky (Ted) McCoy; brother, Randy (Kathy) Smith and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is also preceded in death by his father, David James Smith.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 5-9:00PM and Thursday August 4, 2022, from 1-3:00PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Funeral Services will be held at Kimball Church of Christ on Thursday, August 4, 2022 beginning at 4:00PM.
