Daryl Wayne Jeter, age 50, a resident of Lexington. TN, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home Chapel in Brownsville, TN with the Rev. Kenny Maness officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Brownsville, TN. Visitation to receive friends and family will be held on Thursday Evening, January 13, 2022, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN. Daryl was born on December 26, 1971, in Rantoul, IL to Charles Jeter and Charlotte Jeter Gibson. He worked as a CNC Operator for Stanley Black & Decker. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing. He is survived by his mother, Charlotte Jeter Gibson of Dyersburg, TN; one brother, Chris Jeter (Ginger) of Dyersburg, TN; one nephew, Charles Andrew Jeter; one niece, Meleah Cheyenne Jeter and three great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife, Felicia Woods Jeter and his father, Charles Jeter. Pallbearers for the service are Jimmy Stoots, Jeffrey Vaulx, Drew Jeter, Dalton Jones, Al Hughes, and John Hart. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to the American Cancer Society, Attn: Sharolett Allen, c/o InSouth Bank, P.O. Box 879, Brownsville, TN 38012.
