Daryl Shane Paschall, 54, passed away on May 20, 2015 with his family at his side. He was born on April 1, 1961. He leaves behind his loving wife of 24 years, Beth Forbes Paschall of Huntsville AL, mother Cherrie Paschall of Mayfield KY, sister Dacia Burkett and her husband Tim of Chattanooga TN, and many friends. Daryl was preceded in death by his father Steve Paschall, and his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Parks and Mr. and Mrs. Alton Paschall, all of Murray KY.
Daryl graduated from Mayfield High School in KY, and earned a degree in Engineering from Murray State University. He spent most of his career focusing on quality control and engineering. He worked at SCI, UDS, Motorola, Chrysler, Mevatec, BAE Systems, and most recently at the Missile Defense Agency. He held office in the American Society of Quality Engineers, was a Malcolm Baldridge Award Examiner, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and was recognized by numerous individual and team awards during his career.
Daryl never met a stranger, was known for his humor, was a master story-teller, and was always upbeat in life and at work. His generous heart, quest for fun, and big personality left a lasting impression. He had a true gift for making friends and cherished all of his friendships. Above all, he was a devoted and loving husband, son, brother and friend.
Visitation will be Saturday at 2:00 pm with a service following at 3:00 pm at Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville AL. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that individuals make a donation to a charity of their choice in Daryl’s memory. Daryl’s family greatly appreciates all the thoughts, prayers and loving support.
