Darrow Allen Mills
December 14, 1957 – March 17, 2025

With profound reverence, we honor the memory of Allen, who courageously departed on March 17, 2025, after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Allen was welcomed into eternal peace by his parents, William Darrow and Gladys Mills.

He is survived by his wife, Gina and was a proud father to Chandler Mills (Rachel) and Katie Wilkins (Greyson). He was blessed with a beautiful granddaughter, Charleigh Grace Wilkins and another granddaughter due in September; his siblings, William Ron Mills (Brenda) and Sharon (Sherry) Collingsworth (Ed), as well as many friends, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, and extended family members who will cherish his memory.

Allen graduated from Austin High School in 1977. He was a devoted Alabama fan; loved NASCAR racing; The Andy Griffith Show; and loved going to the beach.

Visitation is scheduled at Shelton’s Funeral Home, Decatur, AL on March 21, 2025 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Roselawn Cemetery, Decatur, AL at 12:30 pm with Associate Pastor Andrew Flatgard officiating.
