Funeral service for Darrel Ray Phillips, 79, will be Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 11:30 AM at First Bible Church with Bro. Jeff Montegudo, Bro. Paul Cheshier and Bro. Steve Bateman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at First Bible Church in Decatur.
Mr. Phillips died on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at his residence. He was born July 11, 1944, in Virginia, to Robert Montague Phillips and Minnie Lambert Phillips.
He was employed by General Electric as a maintenance supervisor, prior to his retirement. He also was a Facility Manager for and retired from First Bible Church of Decatur after 15 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son Bobby “Robert Earl” Phillips
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to the Mission Fund of First Bible Church or to Samaritan’s Purse.

Wife – Sandra K. Phillips and her sons Anthony M. Woods (Stephanie) and Christopher W. Woods (Tonya)
Daughter – Sharon Puckett (Ron)
Brother – Robert Phillips (Jane)

Four Great Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Corey Chambers, Caleb Puckett, Bobby Puckett, Anthony Woods, Chris Woods and Ron Puckett.
