Darlene Slusher of Madison, Alabama passed away on Sunday. She was 67. Before retirement, she worked as an accounts payable/receivable clerk for a number of years and enjoyed her job.
Darlene was a devout Christian and she dearly loved her family. Her world revolved around the loved ones in her life. She will be remembered as an amazing sister, aunt, and great-aunt.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Dolores Slusher; Her father, Jewel Slusher; Her sister, Karen Witt.
Surviving family members include her sister, Lucendia (Eddie) Thomas; Her sister, Faith (Robert) Hines; Her nieces: Jewel Ory, Heaven Vaughn, Hailey Kreps; Her nephews: David Magusin and Robert Hines; Her great-nieces: Kaley, Stormy, Whitley, Millie; Her great-nephews: Christopher, Elijah, Wyatt, and River.
The family will receive friends on Saturday at 11am at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12 Noon at the funeral home. There will be a private burial at Huntsville Memory Gardens following the service.
