Darlene Pocus Cassady, 73 of Town Creek, formerly of Arab, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023. Darlene was born July 11, 1950, in Huntsville the daughter of William Pocus and Lillie Moore Pocus. She was a retired Registered Nurse, after working for over 40 years at the Arab Hospital and Marshall Medical Center North. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her daughters: Brandy Goens (Chris) and April Lamar; grandchildren: Hunter White (Tara), Brianna Logan (Austin), Joshua Lakin, Destiny Kelley, Cole, Cole Kelley and Michael Goens; great grandchildren: Lillie, Elizabeth, Will and John Windell. She was preceded by parents: William and Lillie Pocus, sister: Candace Butler, brothers: Nickie Pocus and James Darrell Allen.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Chance Hall officiating. The burial will be in Gilliam Springs Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers: Hunter White, Joshua Lakin, Chris Goens, Austin Logan and Cole Kelley.
