Darcy Jean Credille James passed away in her home on June 15, 2024, in Dennis, Mississippi, at the age of 84. She was born on September 22, 1939, in Itawamba County, Mississippi. Darcy was loving, servant-hearted, generous, and a faithful follower of Christ.
A memorial service for Darcy will be held on Friday, June 21 at 4 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Chris Higginbottom, Bro. Mike Hart and Bro. Brandon Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Belmont Memory Gardens. Deaton Funeral Home in Belmont, MS, is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-seven years, Lowell James; her son Tom James (Angela); her daughters Jennifer Cain (Phillip) and Lisa Hart (Mike); her grandchildren Anna Sparks (Brandon), Austin James, Ashley Higginbottom (Chris), Sam James (Emma), Sean Marie Hart, Michaela Hart, Wesley Hart, as well as her great-grandchildren, Carlee, Kirk, Callie, Casen, Rose, Theo.
Darcy was preceded in death by her father Ellis Credille; her mother Ruby Credille; her sister Charlene Moore and her brother Vance Credille.
Darcy treasured spending time with those she loved dearly. Nothing brought her greater joy.
Visitation will be Friday, June 21, 3-4 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
