MOULTON-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident has taken the life of a Danville man:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4 p.m. Thursday, May 2, has claimed the life of a Danville man.
Jimmy D. Peebles, 67, was fatally injured when the 1965 Replica Roadster he was driving left the roadway, struck a utility pole, overturned and caught fire. Peebles was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Lawrence County 87 near Lawrence County 434, approximately six miles east of Moulton, in Lawrence County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
