Mr. Danny Wooley Mr. Danny Wooley, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at his home in Lexington. He was born January 17, 1950 in Carroll County to the late Andrew Jackson and Stacey Wood Wooley. Mr. Wooley retired from MagneTek and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church at Yuma. He loved being with his family and especially enjoyed playing Texas Hold ‘Em with family and friends. He also enjoyed playing Spades on his computer.
Mr. Wooley was preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa Leigh Wills; four brothers, Jerry, Larry, Gary “Peanut”, and Barry “Rabbit” Wooley; and two sisters, Wanda Perry and Betty Wood. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Mrs. Shirley Reeves Wooley; his son, Johnny Wooley; his daughter, Lesa Chantelle Thacker (Joe); eleven grandchildren, Matthew Compton, Rickey Smith (Krystal), Quinton Roberts, Payton Tinin (Jodie), Brandon Wooley, Amanda Gibson, Stormie Gibson, Sean Tinin, Blake Tinin (Katie), Emmy Thacker and Elo Thacker; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM, Sunday, October 29, 2023 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Lexington Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, 10 AM – 9 PM and on Sunday, 10 AM until time of service at 3 PM.
