Danny Ray Winstead, age 71, born June 7, 1953, passed away at Helen Keller Hospital on August 18, 2024
Preceding in death is his parents, George D and Martha Winstead, one granddaughter, Emmalie Winstead, grandparents, George W. and Mary Winstead and Walter and Maebelle Gandy, brothers-in-law, Randal Simmons, & Andy Cansler, nephew, Andrew Cansler.
Survivors include sons, Riley Winstead (Kim), Chris Winstead, Josh Winstead, Adam Winstead, Zach Winstead; several grandchildren; brother, George Wesley Winstead, sisters, Kathy Simmons and Debbie Cansler: girlfriend, Tammy Smith.
The family would like to extend a special “thank you’ for all the staff in Emergency Room, ICU, 3rd floor & 4th floor Palliative Care at Helen Keller Hospital. Its hard to lose a loved one, but it makes things just a little easier when the hospital staff shows compassion.
There will be a private graveside service.
