Danny L. Donaldson, age 67, of Dora, passed away September 3, 2021. He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Patricia Donaldson; parents, William M. Donaldson and Mary Charles Wickware and his four siblings. Danny is survived by his daughters, Stephanie McBride Jacobs (T.J.), Samantha Taylor (Steve); grandchildren, Isabella Bryant, Haleigh Taylor and Steven David Taylor; his beloved dog Coco Chanel and many extended family members and friends. Danny was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was lovingly known as “Paw-Paw” and “Danny the Nanny” to those who were most special to him. Danny was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed watching Auburn football. He always had the radio on playing 70’s rock. Danny was funny, loving and kind. He had a strong personality but a stronger love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him. The family would like to extend a special thanks to his friends and caregivers, Charlie Moore, David Morris and Mike P. There love and kindness is appreciated more than words can express. Services will be Sunday, September 5, 2021. Visitation will be held from 3-4pm at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service and burial will follow in McCormack Cemetery.
