Danny is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Bundrum, father, Elvin Wood, and sister, Sharon Wood.
Danny grew up in Blue Mountain and attended Blue Mountain Elementary and Saks High School. He worked at Waters Grocery in Blue Mountain where he became known as “Doughboy”
In August 1986 Danny met Mary, the love of his life. They were married in June of 1987, on his 21st birthday, so he would never forget their anniversary.
Danny worked very hard throughout his life. If he didn’t have a job, he would look for one. He worked at NABI where he was known as “Woodchuck”. His last job was at Honda.

His favorite names he loved being called were Daddy and uncle Dan Dan. He loved to fish and watch Auburn football. Danny loved the Lord, his family, friends, and his church family at Life Church of Oxford. People everywhere loved Danny and he never met a stranger.

I would like to give a special thanks to our neighbor, Kerry Doster who always came and helped us and his cousin Carol Nava who came over and watched church services on Sundays. Thanks to Enhabit Hospice for taking wonderful care of Danny. His nurses Melissa, Berry, and aid Brandy were very special to him, and he loved them so much.
