Danny Hodges passed away on July 17, 2024 at age 69. The Memorial Service, conducted by Pastor Stan Edwards, will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. The family will be receiving friends and family at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the service at 6 p.m.
Donald Ray Hodges Jr., “Danny” was born in Belzoni, Mississippi to Mary Jane Sherrer and Donald Ray Hodges Sr. Danny was a stand-out high school football player at Trousdale County High, Class of ’74. He also played softball well into his adult life. Danny enjoyed working outside and he loved flying his helicopter. He enjoyed raising cattle and cooking for his family. He also loved Shenandoah Mills later becoming Vice President and part owner.
Mr. Hodges is survived by his wife Carol “CJ” Moss Hodges; children: Tina Hodges, Amanda Hodges, Ricky Hodges, and Janna (Casey) Binion; grandchildren: Kolton (Ashley) Hubbard, Jaycie Cowan, John Binion, Alexis Rodgers, and Isabella Hodges; great-grandchild: Kelsie Hubbard; and brother Jerry Hodges. He is preceded in death by parents Jane and Donald Hodges, nephews Josh Hodges, and sister Donnie Spivey.
