Danise Murphy Staggs, age 92, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024, at her residence. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and of the Church of Christ Faith. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Andrew and Lillie Bell Hall Faulkner; her first husband and father of her children, Carl Spencer Staggs; her second husband, Alvin Eugene Murphy; one son, Trassie Dale Staggs; five brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie McFall (Barron) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Sue Green (Keith) of Lester, AL; two sons, Leo Staggs (Jackie) and Jimmy Staggs (Karen), both of Lawrenceburg, TN; three sisters, Mary Angers of TX, Christine Kilburn of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Diana Barton of Lawrenceburg, TN; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 13, 2024, with Jay Burks officiating. Interment will follow at Spann Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
