Danielle Suzanne Butler-Leu, age 54 of Franklin, Tennessee passed away May 1st, 2022. She was born in Quincy, Massachusetts. She is survived by her husband, John, and their sons, Maxwell and Julian. Her parents, Patricia and Lyndon Butler. And her sister, Natalie Bauta. After graduating from John Carroll High School in Fort Pierce, Florida and studying art at the University of Florida, Danielle moved to Miami where she discovered what would become a lifelong love for cooking. In pursuit of that passion, she ventured to New York City where she became an event planner at The French Culinary Institute in Manhattan. Eventually, she settled in Park Slope, Brooklyn, where she spent the next twenty years raising her sons while freelance catering, hosting cooking videos, and throwing fabulous dinner parties. In 2017, Danielle moved to Franklin, Tennessee with her family and became a vibrant member of the community, regularly volunteering at GraceWorks and the Williamson County Animal Center. A shining light that brightened the lives of all those around her, Danielle will be fondly remembered for her extraordinary kindness, compassion, and generosity. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 13th at 11 AM, at St Philip Catholic Church located at 113 2nd Ave S in Franklin, Tennessee followed by a gathering at the family home. In honor of her caring spirit and love of animals, the family asks that in lieu of flowers or cards contributions in her name be made to the Williamson County Animal Center.
