Daniel Porter Nugent Jr. “Danny” ,77, of Orange Beach AL, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024. Danny was a 1965 graduate of Lauderdale County High School and a 1995 graduate of Athens State University.
A time of celebration honoring Mr. Nugent will be held, Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 11 a.m. – 12 noon at Rogersville Funeral Home.
Mr. Nugent was preceded in death by his parents, Robbie S. Nugent and Daniel Porter (Carrie) Nugent, Sr.; wife, Mary C. Nugent; brothers, John Wesley Nugent, Michael J. Nugent, and Terry W. Nugent and his daughter Leneil R. Nugent.
He is survived by his children, Daniel Porter III (Svetlana) Nugent, Anna Nugent and Melissa (Hayden) Stockton; siblings, Diane Nugent Arnold, Jacqueline Nugent Hopkins and Daniel Scott Nugent; sister-in-law, Rhonda R. Nugent and numerous members of extended family.
