Daniel Eric Blackmon, 38 of Guntersville, Alabama, the Red hill Community, died Tuesday – April 19, 2016.
Daniel was born on September 29, 1977 in Madison County Alabama, the son of Randall Lynn Blackmon & Deborah Kay Carter Blackmon. Daniel was a 1995 graduate of Arab High School and received his Associates Degree from Wallace State and Jacksonville State. He was the owner of Blackmon Haulers in Guntersville. Daniel enjoyed drag racing, boating and riding four wheelers.
Daniel is survived by his parents: Randy Blackmon & Kay Blackmon; uncles: Kenny Blackmon (Fran), Donnie Blackmon (Linda); aunts: Dianne Thomas (Steve), Sharon Latimer (Allen), Pam James (Tommy); a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday – April 23, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother Junior Plunkett officiating. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Brian Cantrell, Marty White, Adam Willis, Jonathan Hornsby, Greg Willis, Josh Gresham, Ross James and Andrew James.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday – April 22, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
