Daniel Dallas Ray Maness, age 51, passed away on June 6, 2019 at St. Francis- Memphis.
He was born in Henderson on June 14, 1967 to Lucille Rinks Maness and the late Thomas Dallas Maness. He grew up in Henderson and attended Chester County Schools. He was a construction worker and musician. He married Mary Culifer in 1994, and they made their home around Henderson. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and brother.
Mr. Maness is survived by his wife, Mary Maness; his mother, Willie Lucille Rinks Maness; three sons, Dillion Lee Maness, Jacob Dallas Maness and Caleb Daniel Maness; two daugthters, Jessica Wood and Haley Christine Maness; five brothers, Ronald Maness, Ricky Maness, Roger Maness, Luke Maness, and Devone Sikes; ten sisters, Judy Jones, Lorene Smith, Irene Rinks, Linda Johnson, Janie Kay Maness, Nancy Robertson, Ginger Elder, Lisa Maness, Treva Gitchell, and Tomesa Rogers, and two grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Dallas Maness; two sons, Justin Maness and Dallas Maness; two brothers, Donnie Ray Maness and Kenneth Sikes; two sisters, Patsy Taylor and Sue Roberts.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with Michael Rickenbaker and Clifford Stone officiating. Burial will follow in the Maggie Jones Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at East Main from 5:00PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday.
