Dana Hyer passed away on June 9, 2024, after a hard fought 2-year battle with lung cancer.
Dana was born September 7, 1967, to Sandra and Dana Hyer Sr. He is predeceased by brother Christopher, mother Sandra, father Dana, and stepfather Richard. He is survived by his wife Mishelle, daughters Victoria (Christopher) Haynes, Caitlyn (Jacob) Smock, and Sarah Hyer. He leaves behind 2 adoring grandchildren that were the light of his life: Aubrey and Kaiser Haynes. Dana is also survived by his sister Cindy Hyer and brothers Billy Hyer and Robin Hyer (Sherry Brown). Dana has left behind an abundance of nieces and nephews as well that will mourn his passing.
Family meant everything to Dana. He was surrounded by family in life and in passing his family was by his side.
We are all grieving his loss with heavy hearts; dana will be remembered as a loving husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, and a good friend to many.
Dana asked for a celebration of his life not a mourning of his passing; his wife and children are organizing a celebration of Dana’s life and will forward details.
