In the early morning hours of May 31, 2024, Dan Kratohvil stepped into the presence of his Savior Jesus Christ. He had finished reading the New Testament through. We believe he heard the words we all want to hear: “Well done!” Even if we had the opportunity to say Goodbye, we would have said, as he did, “See you later!” He knew he was loved and he showed his love for us every day. After retiring just one year ago, he left this world at age 67 at his home in Guntersville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and June Kratohvil. Dan will be missed most by his family, including his wife, Jennifer Morgan Kratohvil his children, Lindsay (Chris)Phillips, Aaron (Ashley) Kratohvil, and Morgan (Ben) Pattillo, his grandchildren: Kylee Patterson, Shepard Phillips, Ellison Kratohvil, Gracyen Kratohvil, Millie Pattillo, Olivia Pattillo and his great grandchild: Eliza Jo Miller. Dan loved his Inline Lighting family Dan was a Christian man, a family man, and a business man. He worked hard and provided well for his family. He extended his generosity to scores of people. He chose to give without recognition. We have no way of knowing the number of people he helped in his day to day life. He loved being outdoors whether gardening, landscaping, water sports, or golfing. Visitation will be at Guntersville Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, June 5th, 12 Noon to 2 PM. *burial is private.
