Dale Harding Jr. PhD, age 63, passed away on May 17, 2018 in Madison, Alabama at Huntsville Hospital.
Dale was born August 3, 1954 to Dale Orr Harding Sr. and Doris June Walter Harding in Grove City, Pennsylvania.
Dale married Karen Elaine Skelton on Dec. 31, 1972 and had two children, Robert Dale Harding and Tanya Leigh Hodgson.
Dale was in the United States Air Force for twenty years, retiring in December of 1992 as a Tech Sergeant. Dale holds a BS in Electronic Engineering from Southern Illinois University (SIU) in Carbondale, Florida. He also holds a MS in Aeronautical Science with specializations in both Aerospace Maintenance and Systems Safety from Embry Riddle University out of Daytona Beach, Florida. Dale also has a MBA with an emphasis in Finance from Webster University of St. Louis, MO. and a PhD in Management Science from the University of Phoenix. He has a Master Black Belt Sig Sigma certificate from Villinova University, PA
After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, Dale worked for Aerotech, McDonell Douglas, and Boeing.
Dale enjoyed skeet and trap shooting, Boy Scouts, wood working, taking care of his yard, playing guitar, going to the movies, and hanging out in the swimming pool.
He is survived by wife Karen Harding, Robert Harding, Tanya Hodgson, and four grandchildren; including Jacob Daniel Harding (14), Sierra Trieste Hodgson (14), Halie Rose Harding (16), and Amethyst Brandi Hodgson (16).
He is preceded in death by his parents; Dale Harding Sr.; and Doris Harding.
