Dale Ellis, 78 of Jasper, passed away Thursday March 2, 23 at his residence. He was an active member of Argo First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday March 5, 2023 at 3:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Harold Spradlin will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ross and Frances Ellis and his sister, Shirley Anderson.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Ellis; son, Mike Ellis (Lauren); daughter, Michele Moore; grandchildren, Cody Moore (Cara), Blake Ellis (fiancé Josie Albin), Joey Moore and Madison Barton (Clay); great grandchildren, Cooper Moore and Ember Barton; sister, Bobbie Hyde; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
