Veteran Dale Edward Osborne died peacefully on February 2, 2015 after a prolonged battle with cancer in Huntsville, AL at the age of 62. Dale is survived by his wife Cindy of 36 years, his mother Eloise Osborne of Birmingham, AL, his son Matthew and Randi Osborne of Madison, AL, daughter Suzanne and Flannigan Clifford of Memphis, TN and 6 grandchildren. His brother and sisters; Dudley Osborne of Birmingham, AL, Sharon Richardson of Tampa, FL and Lynda Cone of Decatur, AL and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Charles E. Osborne. Dale was born January 21, 1953 in Birmingham, AL to Eloise and Charles Osborne. He joined the Army soon after high school in 1972. He later married Cindy in 1978. Dale was a telecommunications engineer and worked for Cortelco/Eon for over 20 years. Dale had a passion for his job, Alabama football and love for his family. Visitation will be Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at First Baptist Church on Governors Dr. the funeral service will immediately follow. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
