A Celebration of Life service for Dale Cornelius is planned for Monday, November 6, 2017 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in Farmington Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will accept visitors on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 12:00 noon until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mrs. Cornelius passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at her daughter’s home. She was born May 1, 1950 in Corinth, MS and was a homemaker. She was a member of Central Baptist Church where she served as Treasure for many years. Dale loved her family and friends and enjoyed working in her flower garden, traveling and writing poems. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Randy Cornelius of Corinth; son, Torrey Cornelius of Corinth; daughter, Angie Johnson and husband Greg of Corinth; granddaughter, Glorianna Johnson of Corinth; sisters, Barbara Harmon and husband Robert of Corinth, Brenda Cornelius of Corinth, Sandra Latch of Corinth and Tina Rogers and husband Herbie of Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Dale is preceded in death by her father, Willie Ray Heathcock; mother, Jewel Mae Thompson Heathcock; sister, Virginia Wagner; brothers-in-law, Dexter Cornelius, Jimmy Latch and Gilbert Wagner. Bro. Nelson Hight and Bro. Frank Wilson will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Ryan Cornelius, Jamie Walker, Jake Rogers, Cody Rogers, Ben Skelton and Robin Harmon. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Gloria Dale Cornelius.
