Dale (Butch) Cornelius Cooley, 67 of Athens, Alabama, died Monday, October 23, 2023 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Cooley was born November 8, 1955 in Augusta, GA and he was a member of First Independent Methodist Church in Athens. He was a U.S. Amy Veteran and he was retired from Snap On Tools in Elkmont.
There will be a Visitation Wednesday 6pm until 9pm at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.
Survivors: Wife, Sue Cooley of Athens. Sons, Michael Cooley of Athens and Sammy Cooley of Daytona, FL. Daughters, Kristin (Danny) Davis of Athens and Katherine (James) Baker of Cullman, AL. Seven Grandchildren. Two Great Grandchildren. Brother, Gary (Mitzi) Cooley of Athens. Sister, Tammy (Donnie) Tucker of Rogersville, AL.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Hugie and Joyce Cooley. Sister, Elaine Lawrence. Brother, Darryl Cooley.
