Cindy passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior after an extended battle with cancer. She fought until the very end without complaint and maintained her smile and fierce Independence to her last hours. She was surrounded by her husband, Dan Messer, and friends, as she was lifted up to heaven. She was the Loving partner of Dan for 36 years. Cindy was born in Hawaii, raised in Alabama, Graduated from Auburn University with an Engineering Degree and worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama for 25 years. She and her husband Dan moved to Texas in 2011 and retired to Guntersville in 2018.
She was known for her love of Travel with her girlfriends including Back Packing through Europe, touring China, and riding a camel into the desert of Morocco to camp overnight, among many adventures.
Cindy love to entertain friends and loved nothing more than to prepare a great meal and decorate the perfect table.
Everyone remembers her for her infectious laugh, sweet smile, intelligence, Independence and competitive spirit. Cindy is survived by her Husband: Dan Messer, Mother: Mary Rush Schreiber, Father: Robert Schreiber, Sister: Valerie Raszeja (Scott), Brother: Robert Schreiber. Jr,. Brother-in-law: Russ Messer (Debbie) and Brother-in-law: Scott Messer (Paulette).
She is preceded in death by her Mother: Frances Griffin Schreiber.
