was born January 29, 1962 in Memphis, TN the daughter of Nellie Bowen Plunk Droke and the late Charles N. Plunk.
Cindy loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She also helped take care of her mother, and was the primary caregiver for her sister and nephew. Cindy was a very patient person who had a compassionate heart for others.
Cindy departed this life on December 28, 2013 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 51 Years, 10 Months, 29 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Samantha Plunk and companion Kevin Beavers of Bethel Springs, TN and Jennifer M. West and husband Alex of Cordova, TN; five grandchildren: Brycen Cox, Kael West, Devon Beavers, Natalie Beavers, and Blaizen Plunk; her mother, Nellie Bowen Droke of Memphis, TN; a sister, Linda Brown of Bethel Springs, TN; two brothers, Terry Plunk of Marion, AR and Tony Allen Plunk of Kearneysville, WVA; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to her father, Cindy was preceded in death by a son, John D. Mohrhoff, Jr.
Services will be held on January 2, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, Tennessee, with Tony Moss officiating. Burial will follow in the Maggie Jones Cemetery at Finger, Tennessee.
