Cynthia Delynn Pierce, age 62, of Florence, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord on March 15, 2025, after a life filled with love, faith, and dedication to her family and career.  A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at a grave-side service at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens in Florence on Tuesday, March 18, at 2:00 pm, with Bro. David Byrd officiating. Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Born on June 11, 1962 in Florence, Alabama, Cindy was a devoted sister, wife, grandmother and friend. She was known for her unwavering faith, kind spirit, and generous heart. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, and she always put the needs of others before her own.

Cindy had a distinguished career as an Information Technology Manager at Bank Independent, where she was admired for her leadership, integrity, and expertise. She approached her work with diligence and a commitment to excellence, always striving to make a positive impact on her colleagues and the organization.

A woman of deep faith, Cindy found strength and joy in her relationship with Jesus Christ. Her love for the Lord was evident in her kindness, her words of encouragement, and the way she lived her life as a reflection of His grace.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Glenn Willis Taylor, her cherished brother, Robert “Tony” Pierce, and her precious granddaughter, Stella-Rose Laird.

Though we grieve her passing, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Christ. We take comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of her Savior, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Help Center of Florence, Alabama in her honor.

“Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23
