Cynthia “Cindy” Renae Malone, age 49, of Joppa, Alabama passed away at her residence on Sunday, November 5, 2023. Cindy was born in Marshall County, Alabama on December 30, 1973 daughter of David Lamar Malone and Martha Melissa Smith Malone. She attended Union Hill FCM Church in Joppa. She worked in construction as a concrete finisher.
Cindy led an active life and was involved in many activities. She loved her family immensely and enjoyed the company of people in general. She enjoyed talking, socializing, meeting and greeting. Cindy could be competitive and enjoyed a fierce game of softball. She was quite fond of animals. She loved her cats but her beagles were her true love. Not only would she rabbit hunt with her beagles but she also entered them in dog shows. She could often be found traveling with her beagles to various locations to compete.
Family members left behind to cherish their precious memories of Cindy include: brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Wendy Malone; sister and brother-in-law, Sabrina and Daniel Nelson; uncle, Allen R. Malone and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceding Cindy in death include: parents, David L. and Martha Smith Malone; and brother, Jamey Malone.
Services for Cindy will be at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Friday, November 10, 2023. Visitation will be between 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. Brother Joey Staton will be officiating. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Shannon Smith and Daniel Nelson.
