Cynthia "Cindy" Lou PowellCynthia “Cindy” Lou Powell, 66, passed away October 11, 2024, in Pulaski, TN.
She was born in Springfield on March 2, 1958.

Cindy dedicated much of her life to caring for others, both professionally as a CNA and personally in her interactions with family and friends. Cindy completed her education at Lanphier High School before embarking on a remarkable 35 year career as a CNA technician, including 20 years at St. John’s Hospital. Her commitment to her profession was a testament to her loving and caring nature, always placing the needs of others above her own.

She leaves behind a loving family including her husband, Gerald; children, Gerald Jr. (Nancy), GeorgeAnn, Gayle (Travis) and Garrett; and sister, Amy (Eric). Cindy was also a cherished grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews, all of whom brought immense joy and fulfillment to her life. Her family was her pride and joy, and she relished every moment spent with them.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Marilyn and Earl; and her sister, Carrie.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, honoring her memory and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of kindness, generosity and genuine care for others will forever by remembered by her family, friends and all who knew her.
