Cynthia Albright Bastin – Obituary

Cynthia Albright Bastin, 48, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away Thursday. Cynthia graduated from Huntsville High School in 1986, and earned an associate’s degree as a veterinary technician from Snead State College. She loved working with all kinds of animals, especially grooming dogs, and riding and tending to horses. Mrs. Bastin had a love for the outdoors, camping and spending time at the beach. She assisted Children’s Church Ministry at Flint River Baptist Church. She was a devoted Christian, wife, and mother.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Bastin; daughters, Raeanna Hope Bastin, Mia Faith Bastin and Emma Jean Bastin; mother, Maggie Merryman; father, Eddie Ray Albright; brother, Butch Albright; sister, Selina Ruth Thome (Michael); nieces and nephews, Maggie Albright, Madison Thome, Hannah Thome, Caleb Thome, David Bastin, Jessi Bastin, Jake Bastin, Jarod Bastin, Mary Bastin, Cathrine Bastin and Auburn Bastin.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 22 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow in the chapel with Dr. Steve Bell and Dr. Albert Lemons officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Missions at Flint River Baptist Church, 12945 Hwy 231-431, Hazel Green, AL 35750.
