Funeral Services for Mr. Curtis Wayne Tant, age 63, of Lineville will be held on Wednesday July 20, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. Est. at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, Georgia with Bro. Sammy Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Paulding Memorial Gardens. Visitations for family and friends will be held on Monday Night (7/18/22) at Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.CST and on Tuesday Night (7/19/22) at Clark Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. EST.
Mr. Tant was born in Cobb County, Georgia, and graduated from Paulding County High School. He loved to work on cars and trucks and was a mechanic for most of his life, former owner/operator of Villa Rica Auto Service and also worked from home for several years. He was currently employed with Wellborn Cabinets as a security Guard, loved car shows and car swap meets and cruising with his friends.
He is survived by his wife Linda Tant of Lineville, two step sons, Ricky Roberson (Valarie) of Bowdon, Ga and Tony Roberson (Christie) of Villa Rica, four grandchildren, Spencer Roberson(Elyssa), Jessica Roberson, Taylor Roberson, and Kevin Roberson, one great-grandchild, Wyatt Roberson, one brother Dale Tant (Jane) and his sister-in-law Connie Tant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie C. Tant and Zora Oliver Tant and one brother Travis Tant.
Pallbearers will be Taylor, Kevin, and Spencer Roberson, Zack Tant, Tyler Tant, and James Gunter.
