Curtis Humphreys, age 82, of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. He was a veteran of the Korean War and retired after 35 years from U.S. Steel.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, February 10, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Old Prospect Methodist Church. Rev. Ben Godwin will officiate.
Mr. Humphreys was preceded in death by his Father-William Curtis Humphreys; Mother-Viola Rhodes Humphreys; Sister-Mary Williams; Brothers-Eddie Humphreys and William R. Humphreys.
He is survived by his Wife of 65 years-Betty Humphreys of Jasper; Daughters-Pam Burgett (Glenn) of Jasper and Montez Hann (Wayne) of Talladega; Grandchildren-Nicole Rowland (Andy), Brett Clement (Dina), Curtis Hann (Kim) and Amber Bender (Tyler); 7 Great Grandchildren; A host of nieces and nephews.
