Curtis Fulton Fry age 88 passed away September 30, 2013 at Pine Meadows Nursing Home.
He was born and reared at Silerton, TN the son of the late Earnest and Evi Scarbrough Fry. He entered the Army while in high school and was a paratrooper in WWII having fought in the battle of the bulge. After the service he entered the Merchant Marines and married a lady from Estonia and they settled in New Jersey where he worked for the New Jersey Public Works. He moved to Jackson about ten years ago and had been at Bolivar since February of this year. He was a member of the Northside Assembly in Jackson.
He is survived by a daughter, Evi Leena Fry of Barnegat, New Jersey; a nephew, Jerry Fry of Bolivar and two nieces Yvonne Keller of Bolivar and Wanda Wallace.
He was preceded in death by a brother, A. M. Fry and a sister, Hessie Nicholson.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Bethel Cemetery in Henderson, TN with Skippy Rowland officiating.
