Curtis Dancer was born September 19, 1954 in Selmer, TN the son of the late James Olen and Maudene Kinchen Dancer. Mr. Dancer departed this life on July 14, 2014 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 59 Years, 9 Months, 25 Days.
Curtis transported cars for B & B Auto Sales in Selmer. He had previously worked for the former Piggly Wiggly store, also in Selmer. He was a member of the Selmer Moose Lodge and the Selmer Jaycees. He was a big Nascar fan and also enjoyed playing softball and golf in his younger years. Curtis loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by four sisters, Sue Reynolds and husband Gerald of Olive Branch, MS, Diane Parmely of Selmer, TN, Linda Smith and husband Henry of Ramer, TN, Dina Mitchell and husband Stanley of Selmer, TN; a brother, Larry Dancer and wife Brenda of Corinth, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Dancer was preceded in death by a brother, Charles E. Dancer.
