Curtis  Calvin Collins, Sr. Curtis Calvin Collins Sr. passed in peace at the age of 75 on May 25, 2021. Curtis was the adoring husband of 56 years to Linda Jones Collins; loving father of Candace Stricklin (Randy), Kristy Forbes (Jim), Curtis Collins, Jr. (Kim), and Carla Curley (Damani); proud grandfather of Bethany Johnston (Jeremiah), Nathaniel Fazenbaker (Kelley), Stephen Stricklin, Heather Fazenbaker (deceased), Alexis Collins, Emily Collins, Melanie Culver (Cody), Sara Stricklin, Brianna Stricklin, Monique Clark (Andy), Monique Curley, Elise Curley, Jocelyn Curley, and Olivia Collins; and great- grandfather to Levi, Jenson, Bella, Conner, Noah, Maddie, Zoee, and Lydia; and brother to Kelly Warren, Stan Simpson (deceased), Wynell Ladd, Betty Sanders, and Shirley Kitchens (deceased).

Curtis will be fondly remembered as husband, father, friend, car enthusiast and avid breakfast lover. Curtis was a strong man with an engaging yet quiet personality. He loved race cars, his grandkids who called him Papaw Honey, and his wife, the love of his life, with all his heart. He would always get a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes when he told a story about any of them. Curtis accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior later in life, after which his life was forever changed. He prayed faithfully for his family and friends. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral will follow in the chapel with the Rev. Chris Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
