HANCEILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that has taken the life of a Cullman man:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:10 a.m. Wednesday, February 5, has claimed the life of a Cullman man.
Koby E. Tankersley, 23, was fatally injured when the 2001 Ford Ranger that he was driving left the roadway, struck a fire hydrant and then a cable box. After the impact, the Ford overturned and struck multiple trees. Tankersley was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Cullman County 616 near Cullman County 468, approximately four miles west of Hanceville, in Cullman County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
