Cullman Man Dies From Injuries Received In Single-Vehicle Accident In Walker County

WALKER COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident in Walker County that has taken the life of one person:

“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:50 p.m. Saturday, September 28, has claimed the life of a Cullman man.

Richard G. McClintock Jr., 41, was critically injured when the 2016 GMC Sierra pickup he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. McClintock was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash. McClintock was airlifted to UAB Hospital in Birmingham for medical treatment. On Sunday, September 29, McClintock succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The crash occurred on Nix Road, approximately two miles north of Carbon Hill, in Walker County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
