CULLMAN-The Cullman County Fair will be returning on October 5th, with the gate opening at 5pm! Last year, over 50,000 attendees visited the fair and were thrilled with spectacular rides from America’s best midway at Kissel Entertainment, along with local arts, crafts, livestock and even a petting zoo.

This will make the 69th edition of the local Fair, which has a rich history dating all the way back to 1954. The event is held by the Cullman County Fair Association, and all proceeds go to benefit local charities through the Cullman Lions Club whose members volunteer their time to work. Significant money is donated each year to organizations and people all over who are in need thanks to proceeds at this event.

“We are thrilled to invite everyone back out to one of the largest fundraising events that strictly benefits local charities in the entire State of Alabama,” said Fair Association President Charlie Childers. “This event has given hope and resources to causes which bring out the best in us all. We hope to see you there!”

The Cullman Fair begins on October 5th at 5pm, and continues through October 14th.

Ribbon Cutting is set for Thursday (10/5) at 4:45pm.
